counter weight

Default counter weight

has anyone removed that weight that is on the rear end housing, right before the driveshaft? i was wondering if i took that off if i would feel any viberation in the car?

i did it weighs about 20lbs

so ill see if i feel a vib. it was only 2 bolts

You will get vibration. You need an aluminum driveshaft and higher gears to avoid vibration when you remove that.

Once you change your gears you really don't need it. I have only seen one person who took it off and complained about vibration and put it back on. It weighs 8lbs.

i just drove mine with it off and no vib. o well, thats 8 more pounds off. more too come
