Tuner not working! Can I reset Computer?
I bought a used Diablo tuner and it is not working. The Diablo was reset to the factory tune by the previous owner. The Diablo says that there might already be a tune on my car and it can't tune it. I got my car used so I don't know if it was previously tuned. Is there anyway to reset the mustang computer. I have already tried disconnecting the battery.
I left the battery disconected for about 5 minutes. Can you disconect the computer or did you mean the battery? I asked at my dealership and they would not reset the computer. Maybe another one will.
HELP PLEASE. I have LT Headers, o/r H-Pipe and 4.10 gears sitting in my garage waiting to be installed. But I need the tuner to work to fix the speedometer, turn of the check engine light and the rear o2 sensors after the install.
i always heard that most tuners are not universal and commit themselves to the first OBD sensor they are put into...i think you may have gotten ripped...you may just need to put in the new parts and get another tuner
You can re-install the stock tune and de-link the tuner from the car in order to sell it.
Besides, the SCT is a better tuner as it gives you more/better options and is more widely used by dyno shops.
