Default Midpipe Install

Is there any write ups on how to install a mid pipe, specifically a catted Mac prochamber. I think I may get one soon and I'd like to not spend the money to install. I have a mac catback, stock headers, bolted and I'd like to do it myself. Is it hard? Any where I can find instruction?

That easy huh?? Is there any problems getting it around the axles or anything, or is that just the catback? Sensors? I dunno anything about exhaust.

Easy job. Make sure you hit the manifold bolts with WD-40 or pb blaster 30 minutes prior and on a cold motor. If available, use a 1/2 drive socket set with breaker bar and U-joint. I think they are 15mm. The upper passenger nut is a bitch for most.

I unscrewed the O2s first, then the manifold nuts and then the ones at the cat back. After all is loose, have a buddy (or something) hold the rear of the mid pipe up as you disconnect it. Then, finish unbolting the front and lower to ground. Installation is reverse. I'd recommend putting a drop of med locktite on threads during assembly to prevent the nuts from backing off. Should take about 45 minutes if the manifold nuts come loose easy.

Thanks for the information, can I do it with just jack stands? Or do I need a ramp or something.

just jack stands in the front. the only tricky part is breaking the bolts loose from the stock midpipe and headers
