So I like working on my mustang and installing as much as I can myself....but there are some things that I just dont have the tools/expertise to do. I have a good mechanic for regular maitenance/repair type things, but he doesnt really like doing after-market work for reasons all his own.

I'd love for my next mod to be a gear install, but I dont really know of any speed shops in the area. I live right outside of hartford, so if anyone can give me a recommendation for a good shop, it would be much appreciated...

my dad owns a garage in hamden ct and can do it. our mechaninc has a 1200 hp gto that he built on his own and is a perfectionist but its def not cheap but let me know ill c when available

If youre up near Hartford, Id suggest XX Tuning. In Waterbury is a great shop, Jeanetty RI. There are a few good ones in Hamden/NH too.
