Gas???????
I was wondering if I should put 91 octane in my 2004 mustang gt, do you think it would be better for the car, etc? I was just wondering if I should start putting premium because it doesnt really say anywhere for gt's. Thanks

RE: Gas???????
From everything I've gathered off this site (which could be wrong), it is not really necessary to use that high of an octane without the tune for it. Our cars run just as well on the "low grade" gas as they do on the "high grade" gas, or so I've read. I personally put "mid grade" gas in my 02 GT. Probably doesnt do a damn thing for me, but I do it anyways.

You dont need it. Ford designed the GT's to run on 87. Thats what I put in mine and it ran just fine, never had a problem. I know the 03/04 cobra's have to run 91 tho. You can use it, its just not needed like another guy already said.
