Default Spring Isolators

I've read you can remove the spring isolators for a slightly slower stance. The Mach is already about 1/2" lower than GTs, so I just wanted to come down slightly in the front. Is this correct? Can I do it with stock springs? If so is there a write up somewhere? I did a search, but I'm lost when it comes to suspension. Thanks in advance.

It pretty easy to do. Just take out the spring and remove the black round rubber thing from the top of the spring. But be prepared because you might hear squeaking because they are there to prevent metal on metal rubbing

Pull the isolators (top and bottom) will get you about 1/2" lower. But as someone else has mentioned, be prepared for noise. More road noise transmitted to the cabin and more metal to metal squeeks and bangs. If this is a daily driver, I wouldn't do it.
