Default Funny stuff

I was talking to a guy with an 02 GT. He was telling me about how he changed all his spark plug wires to 10 mm. I thought that was funny.

It was a breeze man. Drove it to the body shop. Picked it up a few days later. The easiest instal ever . . for me haha. Well actually ive had to take it off before. Its just a series of clips and screws. Take out your headlights and grill and just hunt around for all the places its hooked up. It all lines up perfectly. All that BS about cobra bumpers not lining up with gt hoods isnt true. Its all the same.

He was telling you he changed plug wires on 02 GT? OR was he telling you how he ditched coil overs and went for wasted spark system with wires, coil packs, and separate ignition module?

Because thats what I have, EDIS-8, controlled my Megajolt controller. Our engines look nicer with plug wires, but I went to wasted spark system because the controller is easier to tune, and is overall much cheaper. (cheaper than a single tire for my 01 GT) Alternatively I could have kept coil overs and had a hybrid wasted spark system, with addition of drivers to drive two coils from the same output. I still have my stock parts and I might go that route just to explore things.

If he was just telling you how he changed wires, in order to do a tune up, he is bsing, for reasons unkown.

Yeah i know he was bs'ing thats why i said it was funny. PI 4.6's dont have spark plug wires. He didnt do a conversion. I saw under his hood. Idk why ppl say stuff like that. He should have bs'd about something better. Even if you have plug wires upgrading to 10 mm wouldnt add any power

No its not, it jus depends on what year. I know someone with a 00 gt and he has a 03 cobra bumper and it wouldnt line up right with his stock hood. [&:]
