with cash still being tight after buying my 02 GT I still am ready for some mods and was wondering how just putting a set of flows on my otherwise totally stock stang will sound. I don't want to go all out on the exhaust just yet but want a better sound. Is it worth it?

it will sound good, wont be extremely loud, but way better than stock exaust. for another 200 you can put an o/r h or xpipe and it will sound loud as ****

My 98 GT is completely stock except for a set of Flows with turndowns. Sounds great, I love 'em. I my headers now, just need the time to install them and get the H-Pipe made.

 

when i bought my car it was stock except for welded flows...sounded badazz to me. just quiet...so i bought an offroad h and then...alarms started going off and neighbors began to call the cops

 

yea i agree you wont like the sound untill you get an o/r h or prochamber, to me and x sounds to raspy, flows sound great IMO i like the borla stingers too

 

I just ordered a flowmaster catback for my 01gt that i just purchased.Cant wait to install it.

 

yea they sound good, sort of the old school sound, especially when cams are involved
