a tad of slippage, dont think it's that bad though... I will not do longtubes on this car, lol... 1500 for longtubes can go towards my whipple cost which will probably be around a 4500 upgrade, lol... Maybe even a Stage IV ported blower, which will help me top 500rwhp. A lot of people with alike mods come get Cobra guys up around 450-465rwhp, but like Dan said, most without a lower pulley dont have my torque which is a positive I guess, lol.

Stock Cobras hit around 370-385rwhp stock fyi.

If your shooting for the sky buy an already modded cobra. I've seen an unmolested 600 hp KB with all the supporting mods going for $26 G's.

If I was going ***** out I'd buy one of those & be careful where you get it/might take some time to find. But they are out there. I think your #'s are right on the money & be cool with the fact that you can eat a c6 alive. ****, I'm happy w/ my 352 rwhp on an otherwise stock GT.

Try e-bay. TONS of people buy **** their in way over their heads on & have to sell it at a BIG MF'N discount.

Edit; I hear ya on the LT's. Not worth it on any car...

I'd question what is really done for the upper pulley swap and if there already is a lower pulley swap done.

What brand upper pulley do you have? Is it stamped? Maybe you should measure it...

The numbers look good, but don't quite seem to be on par with others...

The Belt-Slip alone could be the reason why your numbers are just a touch off..
Easily could be the dyno not reading quite right on too.

xxkazp3rxx, what did you dyno stock? Did you do a baseline on this particular dyno?

It was modded before I bought it.... I gained 24rwhp and about 30lb ft tor, with the intake and o/r hpipe and 20 degree cooler weather.. both times with a lil heat soaked engine.

I have stock injectors, not sure what size they are.. i know that's bad, lol...

I would never buy a heavily modded Cobra. If it has over 600rwhp it is not unmolested, maybe well taken care of, but not unmolested. I was iffy about buying one with a pulley/catback. Also, you dont really want to go from 250rwhp to 600+ without going in steps to get use to it, ya know?

I sent a couple of emails with my dyno and mod list to some other tuners see what they thought about it. I guess we'll see..

39# injectors on the terminators. I bought a set for my 2000 but the female end didn't match up with the male end. Something about D-type terminals...idk

Nobody wants to buy a car already "beefed up." But my stang in perfect cond. w/ 47,000 miles is worth about $10,000??? (idk) Well, MOST people would have spend a good $5,000 on the gear/SC + the install prices which would have topped $5,000 easily. So is my car worth $15,000??? No, I'd say it's worth 10 at best. Provided I have 6 months to sit around and wait for the right buyer. After doing this to my stang I have NO problem buying an already beefed mustang.

but what if the person that had this heavily modded Cobra raced it every weekend? would you still want a car that was beaten to death every 2 weeks? Or has this car been babied by it's current owner, but the guy before him beat the **** out of it? You just never know... the more modded a car is, the more of a chance that it's been beat on at the track, which isn't good for any car.

Lots of people race the **** out of their terminators. But there are also lots of people who like 600 rwhp for bragging rights/the occasional fun.

600 rwhp is not really streetable hp. I can see getting annoyed with MY setup. It's not a "comfortable ride." It's fun...but not really something you want to stick with after a certain amount of time. You'll outgrow it. Boost is cool for now...but I think I'll be looking for a 4-door ford focus in the future as a DD. Too much attention/headaches with tickets...

I can't believe I am saying this, but I have to agree with mike.

Saying you won't buy a car because it has mods is a bad decision IMO. Just because it has mods means it was beat on? Hell, whats to say a car with no mods hasn't been beat on?

I know one thing for sure, after spending literally thousands upon thousands on my car, I don't beat the hell out of it, and it's always clean when it goes back in the garage, well taken care of, etc etc. I would be much more likely to beat on a car that is stock and the only investment I have in it is the buying price than to destroy something that I have put all this time and money into.

I'm not saying a heavily modified car means it hasn't been beat on, but just check the car out and see what its like.

One last thing. Your talking about buying a 600+ WHP car but your worried it has been beat on. Exactly what were YOU planning on doing with it, driving to walmart for tampons and ice cream??

I'd be more worried about the stupid cai+exhaust+all the other worthless mods. Just cuz you know someone wanted to prove to themselves or others that the car ran "better" with these mods. Deffinately beating the **** out of it.

I think it's one of those things where you'd have to understand teh previous owner.

If I had a 600 rwhp cobra I'd make damn sure I didn't blow the engine cuz that's 6,000 bucks. Like I said, bragging rights/etc.
