Default shifter *****

I kinda like the feeling of the stock shifter **** for my 5 spd GT, but are there any comfortable, stylish ones out there?? Any suggestions, if I were to get a new one?? What do you guys like?

Well, question. How do you grip your shifter ****? With hand holding it, or with hand on top of it? If latter, then you need a round **** as gentelmen above showed in picture. It is called a sport ****, and your stock one is called a grip ****.

When you use grip **** the way you use a sport ****, meaning with hand on top of it, under race conditions your arm could slip, causing a missed shift, or worth your car in the ditch if you down shifting into corner.

Now you can get a cheap and good looking grip **** at wall mart. Its made specifically for the mustang, but it is cheap, 20 or so, and you get shifter ****, pedal covers, and I think door ***** too. It has a gheddo, but nice kind of gheddo look to it, meaning it wont be stolen. MGW **** is pretty, but expensive, and its like leaving a radar detector inside your car, can be stolen. Check out that wall mart ****.

+1 for teh MGW composite know. Expensive, yes. Worth it? Definitely.

My only other advice is to think twice about the all metal ***** like the one pictured above. I originally had that one picked out as well but I'm glad I didn't get it. They get extremely hot in the summer (think 6 spd. palm brand) and extremely cold in the winter.

If your heart is set on a spherical ****, then perhaps the MGW gripper instead.

Here's the link if your wondering. www.mgwltd.com

I like the FRPP ****. Simple and similar to stock but a little beefier so it feels good and stylish without going overboard and looking out of place.
