question for 96-98 gt owners
well i know a lot of people here hate when people ask about races but if you dont wanna read this then just go to another thread please.....
There is a kid around town that ive been tryin to race for quite some time now...but he is always "too busy".....
He has a 98 gt 5speed completely stock.(said to be weak for a gt by a previous owner)
I have an 03 v6 auto with dual 40's, cai, and a diablo tune.
Do you think i have a chance at him?

well i didnt know...i may not win but i want him to know i aint too afraid to try.....thanks for the car comment...its gunna look a little different in a few weeks because i bought a roush style chin spoiler for it.

I'd say run him. It's no problem so long as the race is for fun. If he sucks at driving you'll take him for sure

You'll never know til you actually run. We could tell you for the next week reasons why you could win or he could win but it all comes down to actually doing it.

yeah it doesnt matter if i win or not it isnt for any title or money or anything........and one thing...he got completely killed one night against a cobra...i dont know why he thought he could be that....it was a 99 cobra with a built motor. the cobra missed 2nd gear and still had the gt by about 15 cars....but anyways...the 03 cobra setup would be so fun to have in that thing,but i dont really have that much money

yea I don't race cars I know would smoke me unless I wanna see them hammer it lol. I almos thad a chance at running and SRT4 tonight but he turned when I was goin straight... darn
You know you could look for a low milage PI 4.6, that's what I'm gonna do because I need a swap soon

well i would do an engine swap but ive got a 95 cobra that im rebuilding thats gunna be one bad ride someday so im just gunna spend money on that....and i just bought a 92 lx 5.0 vert today to sale but it isnt ready to post in the classifieds yet.....you need one of those ya know
