The "Silver Bucket" VS an LS1 Vette on a highway pull? From 35mph on up (2nd gear) and from a 55mph pull (3rd gear). Whatcha think?

If not, heres how I see it. Vette takes it at 35mph but you take it at 55mph.

 

We ran today, so I have the results. I am by no means a highway killer. With my 4.10's, the 2nd gear pull had me at 5000 rpms...UUGGHHHHHHHH.

 

I bet it would be close... but i would put my money on your car if its a stock vette.

 

well , from seeing your car run I dont think he has a chance if he is stock . if he has stock gears he will catch you on the top end but its over by then . if he's a good driver it might be close .

 

On the 3rd gear pull, I put about 5-6 cars on him. On the 2nd gear pull....I was about a fender length ahead until the middle of third when I started pulling pretty hard. I was VERY surprised to pull that hard against him on a highway roll. With my gears and lack of aerodynamics, I figured he would have pulled me.
