Not 2 mention ... what you would spend to blow a mach 1, you can throw on a built rear axle and some bolt ons to up the boost on the cobra .. and you'll be much .. much happier in the end ...

im a fan of the mach 1 styling as you are. but i guess it comes down to.. how much do you care about speed. you say u like the looks of the mach one more but obviously prefer the cobra speed. so u gotta choose speed or looks. if ur just looking for a fun car the mach would be a good car(not that the cobra aint). but if u all about goin fast cobra hands down

There are ways to make a Mach 1 as fast as a Cobra that aren't too expensive. If you are a real horsepower junkie, then the Cobra is the better platform to start with.

Big price difference & I'd assume a big insurance difference.

You talking apples and oranges here....

Doesn't the Mach have forged internals???

there is no question the mach is a nice car, but you can find cobra coupe for roughly the same price or 1or 2k more. The cobra is just a much better value for some lookin to have a high horsepower vehicle
