Ok well i have a five speed 2000 gt with flowmasters and an offroad H so nothing too awesome. But tonight i was crusing through town when a guy in a chrysler crossfire coupe that was an automatic challenged me too a race. I held off for the moment but told him i would be up for it. Anyways how fast do these cars run? Could i take him? The only reason i ask is that he said he would put money on it. So what do you guys think?

 

Those things run like mid 15s. I wouldn't worry about them.

 

Are you sure it wasn't an SRT-6? Those have the big wing in the back and the multispoke rims, chin spoiler, and some other cosmetic changes...and 330 hp in case you didn't know.

 

all crossfires have the big wing that raises at speed, or with a button. as long as its not the srt-6(rare) you'll win.

srt-6 will probly run you - but maybe not from a dig - on a roll hell mostly likly spank you tho - esp he has done a pulley swap on it - but if its not an srt then he doenst stand a chance

 

if he says he'll put money on it, you never know, it could be turbo'd or something.

 

You can hear a turbo, and a super charger. If its not an SRT-6 go for it.

 

srt6 runs low 13's, regular runs mid to high 14's. shouldn't be too bad of a race if its the regular one. if it's the srt6 get like 6 lenths LOL

 

man do it trust me u will embarres him that happen to me the other day some high school kid ask me to race for a full tank of gas i said sure why not and there not that fast i took him he never paid up it was all talk.
