i just got my car back from a local shop who put in some gauges for me and they are telling me i still have the stock injectors. i have had a 10lb supercharger on my car for 12,000 miles and i know 38 lb injectors came with the kit and the people i bought my car from told me he put 42's in. i have two sets fo numers on the injectors does anyone know if the stock's do and if so what they are...i checked vortech and ether numbers matched anything

What year stang do you have. 42 lbs sound right for a 10psi charger. I was gonna buy an 8psi and that come with 38 lb injectors.

I have 19lb injectors and all mine have written on them is in the top right hand corner that says 281 and on the bottom says 0280156610 Thats all.

 

i have a 2001 i think they are 42 . they look exactly like the ones on the vortech website.. just i couldnt match the numbers on them with any numbers on the website. the only reason i was worrying about it was for the first day i had my a/f gauge on it was running dead lean but now it is running stoich to rich.. so i am not worried

what color injectors are they? 42's are green usually

 

i dunno first hand 1/4 mile i am going the 10th of sept. but the guy i bought it from said he ran a 13.6 with spin threw 1st and part of second
they are black with a red ring

 

red... those are 30's usually (I say usually because the industry standard for 30# injectors is red - although not ALL manufacurers rate with colors)

 

the kit came with 38's so thats probbaly what they are
