Can somebody tell me if anything looks wrong about the way my clutch has worn? I've been having ridiculous vibrations and problems with my clutch for about 4 months, 5,000 miles. Thanks for anyone that can help out.

It looks like the pressure plate side isnt wearing evenly. mabye some clutch chatter... mabye you had your clutch cable adjusted to much so it depressed the pressure plate alittle too much and didnt let it seat properly... Just a thought...

Its not fun taking out a tremec 3650 is it? Sucks you can unbolt the bellhousing from the transmission... I have to replace my clutch and again and I am dreading it! And now I have longtubes too... [:@]

i didn't put it in, the mechanic down the street from me did. Is the T/O bearing supposed to be off center like that? Also, i did notice the uneven wear. The people i bought it from are dicking me around unbeleivably telling me it has been out of my car for a long time when it has been out of my car for 5 days TOPS. So now they are telling me the manufacturer will be calling me tomorrow. ALSO, they told me they couldn't give me the manufacturer's information. WHAT THE %^^*!!!!!!!!

Does a 99-01 cobra take the same clutch as a '03 GT? i have an '03 GT and the box for the clutch says 99-01 Cobra.

 

yes , I'm pretty sure it's the same . I think your flywheel is warp , get it turned or if you have the $$$ get a new one .

 

a warped flywheel will do that? If i get the flywheel redone, will i need to get another clutch?

 

and could the clutch disk be warped? i had put a new flywheel in!
