Default clutch cable question

i was reading in the 5.0 section that a lot of people were having problem with their steeda adujustable clutch cable snapping. I was going to get this when i replace my clutch. http://americanmuscle.com/noname3.html
I was wondering if any of you had any problems with it and I was also reading in the 5.0 section that if the clutch clicks during 90% disengagement something is wrong with the quadrant. I know mine makes a clicking sound when its pretty close to the floor. I was also wondering if someone can shine some light on that for me

the clicking you hear is the quadrant slippin. that is why there is an aftermarket for that. i am running the steeds cable and so far no problems to be found.
