Not to sound like a dick, but I agree 100%. Dude, it's your money, your car, so make your own decision on this one.

+1 on getting a trans am instead. that is if you're set on trading for an ls1

 

i say go for it, i wanted a Trans am WS6 for my first car...but there to much money so now im saving up for a C5 Z06 hopefully can get it end of my Sr. year

 

its ugly but my buddy has one with a cam, l/t , y pipe cat back and bolt ons, minor suspension and runs consitent 12.1x and if im not mistaken thats faster than code3gt with half the work

 

now that i look at it that car really does look like a fish. kinda weird. but if it was me i would MUCH rather have a terminator or a mach. buy the ls1 if you want but always remember that you can make a mustang fast, but you cant make a camaro look good

 

i would keep the mustang personally because i think they look better than most f-bodies.

 

But at the end of the day, it's still just a Camaro
