The reason I ask is, because if you do not, the snow kit will do absolutly nothing for your car.

They have an N/A kit now that guys are using on high compression set ups and gaining power.

I don't think you are ever going to see a n/a 4.6L car have or need this setup.

Your talking about a all drag race car running a boatload of compression and racing fuel, not a steet driven 2v 4.6L.

on his application, it simply does nothing unless your FI, at which point it does alot.

I have seen several NA cars over on MD running methanol injection. Most are running flat tops and don't want to pay for race fuel all the time so they use windshield washer fluid. Much cheaper and easier to get.

When I got my car and was trying to figure out the octane issue (going from 93-91) and what would have to be changed in the tune, I spoke with the snow guy's and multiple tuners in both Oklahoma, New York, and Penn. All of them said it would be no issue and require no change on as extremely mild of a tune as I have since I am running the meth kit.

They also said, as an example to reassure me, that on a NA 4.6 you can run full blown race timing on a 50/50 spray mix and a proper tune. NA cars can pick up 20+hp in that situation (this coming from Archangel motor sports in Oklahoma and from Kauffman performance in penn).

It also works great with nitrous (you can spray both).. due to the cooling factor and octane boost it will make more power than just nitrous alone on the same size shot.. but our internals keep us from being able to run a bigger shot with it. On fully forged internals you could run a bigger shot of nitrous with a meth kit than without, again, due to the octane boost and the cooling provided.

One thing I wanted to add.. the kit by itself will do almost nothing for you. Its 100% in the tune for one of these kits. If you get a conservative tune your going to see very little gains. If you get a crazy, borderline unsafe tune, you will see much more gains. My car is setup @10psi and is tuned down to meet NY emissions still.. and I really dont see a need to have it retuned for more power untill I start replacing parts.
