maybe im a bit paranoid but i feel like my car is backfireing too much when i rev, i have stock manifolds an o/r h-pipe and race bullet mufflers should i be concerned with this or is it just me. it defenetly backfires more and louder than before i had the o/r hipe. one more question after i installed my o/r h pipe my check engine light came on, i bought the MILs and everything so i dont know why it turns on any info on this

i have some backfire from my o/r x pipes as well... supposed to be normal.. =P and the CEL, not too many of those MILs are good quality, some of them don't even work. If you have a portable tuner, then you can turn the CEL off =D

MIL's don't always work. Best thing to do is sell the MIL's and get a tuner to cut the light off. Off-road pipes will also backfire more.

thanks guys i didnt know that the MILs didnt always work so if the check engine light turns their most likely not doing anything?
or there any side affect to running on o/r pipe other than the annoying light

Your gas mileage will suck and your car will most likely be down on power.

lol... when the CEL comes on, it'll slow down your car. Doesn't matter how many horses you got with the pipe of yours =P
