Default performance mods question! help!

I have about 2000 to spend and i have a 99 mustnag GT. I want to beef it up as much as i can for that price. i have full exhaust and short throw. I was thinking cams, 410's, intake manifold, cold air kit/plenum, diablosport. How is that combo??? Any suggesstions on what else to get or nething else??? thanks!

I would use part of that for the 4.10's and the tuner deffinately first. Cams are gonna cost a lot if you have a shop install them for you. As for the intake and such, you could invest in a good one because a lot of new manifolds are coming out for our engines that you could look into. The whole set up is going to run you more than 2K because of labor I beleive. But if you can get the majority of it, then I think you will be happy with the results. But deff. get the 4.10's and tuner first!

Go with the gears you can pick up some ford racing gears from summit for like 150 or so. It shouldnt cost more than 250 to 350 to have them installed. so thats 500. diablosport you can pick up for 350. thats 850. do exhaust, Long tubes, your choice of mid-pipe, and a set of good mufflers, Flowmaster and Bassani are very good. that should put you close to 2,000. then take the rest and save for some tires and suspension mods. If you have enough left you should buy some sub-frame connectors. or possibly a shorty shifter. those are the 1st mods i did and i was very happy w/ the results. went from runnin 9.3 in the eighth to a 8.66 just the other night
