Default PP heads

Hey
am doing a pi swap is it worth geting hte heads ported and polished how much of a diffrence in hp will it make

Yes it is worth it. Every bit of airflow you can get into your motor is going to help. I personally don't have it cause i dont have the cash for someone to do it but if I did it is worthwhile.

If you are interested in buying a PI swap kit with ported heads, you should check out Steen Racing. They've got a couple of porting packages.

The way I see it, if you're gonna do the PI swap, do it right. Get the most you can out of it. Get the heads worked over along with some new springs, throw in a pair of aftermarket cams, and all of a sudden you'll be making a fair amount more power than you would if you went with all stock pi parts.

It really depends on the shop, and what they do.

I think all of these sites post the price to port heads.
