Hey guys, I am hoping ya'll can shed some light on this, I got a race vs. a 2000 GT 5-speed.

It has: mild cams, 3.73 gears, CAI, tune, and axle-backs.

Everyone I talk to is saying I am going to get my A$$ handed to me.

If he has gears and cams you're gonna get stomped. I race my friends 06 GT all the time. I have full bolt ons (not including gears or cams) and i hand it to him everytime. Im saying he makes more around 260 rwhp

Well, his friend said exhaust, so I was guessing he had axle backs...

No he doesnt. . . . they have about the same HP. Plus the 3v weighs more.

Well its gonna be a drivers race so take out ur spare tire and back seat and get a good launch and you might take him.

so your saying cams with no supporting mods will give you 35rwhp? wow.. i want to put my car on your dyno.

Without a full intake or full exhaust i doubt hes making more then 10-15rwhp from the cams. Especially if there stage 2 he wont see the full potential of them.
