check the classified section over at corral. I've seen a couple sets of used VT stage 2's over there, and there was also a set of stage 1's that I saw awhile ago.

Stage 2's while require a tune and springs, also VT reccomends 3.55 or better gearing I think.

Also if you're running stage 2's, chances are you aren't going to get the full potentional if you're running a stock bottom end. Because you won't be able to rev high enough for the stage 2's.

Stage 1 = Stock Bottom End
Stage 2 + = NOT stock bottom end

like I was saying in the PMs:

According to at least one member on the site the stage 2s will work with a NPI engine swapped to PI stuff. Assuming this is right (CALL VT!!!) you would be wasting money to swap from a stage 2 to a stage 1 since the kit you want already has stage 2 cams in it.

The difference is not THAT much. You will never notice the difference unless you were to swap them back to back.

just call and ask the professionals what they think, dont ask around on here because cams are something very important for your car and you dont want to get false information

While doing the PI swap just remember that you can just buy the FRPP heads with cams and save alot of money. I'll probably get flamed for this but it is a inexpensive alternative and they make decent power. Before I went F/I, I did the swap with the FRPP heads and was very pleased with the outcome!!
My stock RWHP-185
After swap RWHP-245
