Do you ever regret buying black with it being so hard to keep clean and such?

I'm checking out Mustangs this weekend and am pretty unsure about black, as my old one was black and showed every tiny imperfection.

And what does everyone think of yellow?

I have had a black one before and it looks beautiful when clean dont get me wrong but in the sun it shows every little swirl etc and its dirty as soon as you wash it bascially. They look good but I personally am not going to do it again. just my .02

Hmm yes I admit I do have clean it more often then any other car I have owned. But it is also my favorite and part of it is cause it is black. So in my opinion it is very worth it and i do not regret it. Black has to be one of the more popular mustang colors it is right up there with White,Red, and blue

I love black cars. They look sooo good when clean. Bright lights are hell with the swirl marks and all.. but I guess thats what you get when your car is almost 9 years old[&:].

My car is black. When I buy my terminator, it will be black as well;).

I love my black stang. It's true, it's very hard to keep a black car looking good in the sun, but when you have a sick shine on it and it's in the shade, you cant touch the color IMO. My car was not taken care of well before i got it so my paint isnt the best, but i buffed it and polished it this year and kept it waxed and it looks a ton better. I dont know if I'd buy another black car for a daily driver, but for a fun car i love it. It does get dirty easy though, as does white, but when it's clean i dont think another color can touch it.

I love my black Stang. Tough as hell to keep clean, but when it is, there is nothing that looks better. The color gives it a real mean look.[>:]

As for yellow, that would be my next choice. My other car is yellow, and I believe it's the nicest color for a sports car. And a hell of a lot easier to keep clean and shiny.[8D]

I loved my black cobra so much, I bought a black GT after I sold it. Lol.

Black is by far the purrtiest color when its clean, but you have to really love your car. If you dont love the car, you wont take care of it like it needs to be for it to really look good. Lots of other colors look good and are easier to keep clean.

black is the meanest and fastest color out there. worth the work to keep it clean. but i hate seeing every little tiny stupid idiot scratch!

I wish I had black. It truly is my favorite car color. Everything looks good in black(well better, the color can't fix an ugly car). I'm sure it's a lot of trouble to keep clean but I would be able to live with it:D

Yeah black is great. Easy to clean, easy to get dirty. You can never get tired when it's clean and it's giving off that mile deep wet look. Just cause it's black means that you got to show it a little more love.

black is nice and all but...but but....if i could repick colors again id prob go with azure blue (the mach 1 color) or competition orange...
again black looks nice on almost everything but it needs to be cleaned once a week and if you dont show it proper care it will look like ****...i see marks in mine all the time and its frustrating (only so much you can do without a new paintjob and a 6 year old car)

Look .. I didn't have a black stang .. but I'm no newbie to black cars/Trucks .. ask bransdaman78 about my experience with black .. it doesn't matter what you do to it .. it doesn't matter what color pearl you throw on it .. it doesn't matter if you flake it .. or spray it with the top clear .. if its a daily driver .. one day down the road you're gonna stop .. stare at it . .and say .. why in the hell did I get this Black POS ... I promise you ..haha

No regrets. If you neglect your cars then it ain't for you. If you're obsessed like the rest of us, you'll have (arguably) the most beautiful car in town....

Yep, what he said ^. I don't regret my choice in black one bit (not that I had as much choice since I got it used, but still). Sure it takes a little work to keep it looking good, but so what? Black cars look better than any other car when they are clean, so it just means you have to do a little work every no and then. I'll be washing and doing one more wax this winter tomorrow (It's gonna be 70!!).

I like the black for the shine but it dose show more dirt that other colors not saying that it get any dirtier faster it just will show the dirt, but that don't bother me at all sense i give both my car a bath once a week, if you put a nice wax on the car it will seem to keep cleaner longer than if you just wash it and dry it

My car is trueblue...the next worst thing to black when talking about keeping it clean, etc. Sometimes I do wish I'd have got another color...but when it is clean it is worth the work to clean it.

I've always been a black kind of guy. When my first (red) Mustang got wrecked, I went out and found a black one. True, it's hard to keep clean, but the payoff is very worth it when it's clean.

Jealous !? .. NOT IN THE LEAST .. esp after having purchased my favorite color .. SONIC BLUE .. In all honestly .. Black is my favorite color of cars .. but from tried and true addiction and experience .. I know that unless I'm super freakin rich and can have someone wax and buff wax and buff etc like everyday I'm never gonna have a black car again .. and I'm certainly never going to have a black car again .. that I repaint 3 times, each with a different color pearl, flake, or mix of both to it .. haha ... I learned the hard way that unless its a car you're never going to take outside ... aka drive .. then don't do it .. cause once you have to wash it .. it'll never look the same as Day ! ...

I have two mustangs one is a strawberry red fox, the other is a black Mach1 that I wished I would have never bought because it gets dirty so fast. It looks good for about five minutes then the dust shows. I wash it atleast every other day, almost everyday in the winter.

Black is a nice color to have if your willing to put forth the effort to keep it nice. I have had two black mustangs and some days im mad because of all of the minor imperfections that you can see but other days I think no other paint job can beat it. Black on black is my favorite!:D

black is the ultimate color for any car especially a mustang but it does have its draw backs. still when clean it looks like no other.
