Allright its been a while since I've been on this site, almost forgot it even exist. Anyways tho, my gf just purchased a 04 mach 1, competition orange, 24k miles, $22,000. Drove it today and as nice as it is it just doesnt have the sound I was opening to hear. I own a 00 gt with slp lm2's, now they sound great on my 2v, I was thinking about getting some 4 her mach but I didnt know how they would sound on the 4v, any thoughts?

The only clip I found on Mustangexhaust.com with SLP's and a Mach I think was with LMI's. It will sound great though...having those extra valves aint gonna make it sound bad, theres no way. [sm=forgetit.gif]

i know a guy with a 2004 mach1, he has the SLP Catted X and LoudMouth I catback and it sounds like pure sex.


specialy when he smoked them under a bridge right in front of me i couldnt even hear my car when we were just cruising.

Your girlfriend got a Mach? that is fvking cool. Is it a 5speed? I wish my girlfriend was liked sports cars but instead she drives a 95' lincoln town car. Dont get me wrong, it is a comfy car but I dont think I have ever seen another 21year old hot white girl driving a town car. It is more of a old person/ganster cruiser.
IMO a mach would sound so bada$s with any exhaust work. I would stay away from the lm1's and lm2's they may be alttile too loud for her and get annoying after awhile. I think that MAC or Flowmasters would be a good choice.

Yea it's a 5 speed I wasn't gonna let her ruin a great car with one of ford's autos [:-], and yea i know how you feel mvr, after I left her house driving home in my gt, almost had to pull over and make sure I wasn't driving a honda

my friend (swervo) has the LM1s. It's loud as hell. I personally don't like it that much being uber loud, I perfer the more throaty, deep muscle car sound. I have Mac o/r Prochamber and Steeda catback, sounds mean, gets loud when you get on it, and best of all. it doesn't DRONE!!!!

I have the LM1s on my 03 Mach 1 and i absolutely love it
LM1s if you want it really loud, but it is raspy
LM2s if you want it moderately loud and deep

Either way--->SLPs FTW

If you JUST want a catback the lm1 sound good, but if your gonna get a midpipe i would choose a different catback personally. I have heard lots of slp and honestly i think they are wayyyyy over rated sound wise. Dont get me wrong they sound good but i think theyre are alot more catbacks out there that sound better. SLP paired up with any o/r x pipe is ridiculously loud. I have an o/r bassani x and magnaflow magnapack catback and even that is obnoxious. 2 valves and 4 valves have a little bit diff. sound too.
