What makes a KB so good? Are there other types of twin screws that are just as good at a less expensive price?

Nope, your only other solution is whipple (not even sure they mess with the 2v stuff) and its just as expensive, and maybe salleen? I don't think salleen ever came out with a twin for the 2v 4.6 though?

The advantage of the KB is that it makes boost down low instead of higher up in the RPM band, so you get a big hit of TQ down low.
