Default Man this sux!

Well I dropped my stang off at the Ford dealer today and it will be gone for a lil while since they gotta replace my airbags and all the sensors and crap. Really sux im gonna miss it since the weather hasnt been to bad here. I hope it comes back to me in a timely manner. Has anyone ever had to get their airbags replaced, I know it will be longer in the case of an actual accident but I am so anxious to get it back. Its Christmas time and I am suspose to be getting some more stuff for it. My 6 disc radio keeps saying CD Error and wont play CDs ever since this happened. Anyone else have this problem? Man this sux I dont want to have to buy a new radio 2.

yeah.. I get that cd error all the time.. it happens periodically when it tries to change disks.. I quick fix is just disconnecting the battery for a second then reconnecting it.. works every time.. but still having to do it does get annoying.

You can install air bags in like 15 minutes if you know what you're doing[&:]

Funny because I bought my car wrecked and the CD player never worked. The changer kept saying CD Error when I switched to the different CDs. I just bought a flip up DVD

i tried that also but it did not work. Is there a way to hard reset it? My factory radio is so confused. For it to sound good you have to change the DSP to Driver seat then back to All seats for it to sound good

The stock cd player is garbage! Even a $90 one at best buy is nicer, just get one of those.

I dunno.. mine sounds fine aside from the occasional cd error.. but resetting the battery has always worked... once it I reset the battery I turn on the radio then switch to cd and let it sit there for a little while for it to initialize.. then it just starts working.. It sounds like yours might be having more problems then mine though.. You can either try and get an aftermarket radio or try junkyards to see if they have any stockers and see if you can get one for cheap through them..

The mach system in my Cobra sucks. The Mach system is garbage, especially if you just want to change the head unit.

My cd player will only play burnt cd's. Seems like any cd with any sort of interactive content for CPU's won't play right. Oh well, I don't listen to the stereo in my Cobra anyway.

Air bags are a rather simple fix. They are just expensive as all hell to buy.
