Same goes for me. I did my entire clutch job without a single air tool. Only real time consuming part, as in down time, was waiting for the flywheel to be cut... but i was rebuildin the trans so it was no biggy.

Ask me whatever and I'll be glad to tell you all I know and all I learned through my job on my car.

same here. its not really hard, its just really time consuming, oh and the tranny weighs a **** load so you better be strong or know someone who is.
and if you could use a lift and a tranny jack, it would be a billion times easier, and so would air tool

I have changed my clutch a few times in my current mustang and my old 89 fox body.. Your lucky you have a T45 in your stang, I got a tremec 3650 which you cant unbolt the bellhousing from the trans without taking it out first. WTF, who designs that? Anyways you should read over your repair manual, its fairly simple... Specs a good product I got a Spec stage 1 in my car now. I am going to buy a Spec aluminum flywheel and stage 2 clutch when I save up some money. Heres a right up replacing a tremec 3650 to a t56... same principle basicly except some things... lol

On the T45 as I saw, the bellhousing is part of the transmission, and when you remove it you expose the guts of the tranny inside

I've never done it, but when I bought the new trans for my 97 cobra the guy told me I'd need a 3/8 extention that's about a mile long & a swivel pieceto get to the top bolts.

yup, to get to the top starter bolt you have to have extensions on it that come out right by the passenger exhaust manifold
