Default Automatic Trans. Question

Hey guys I had to go in to work early this morning and on my way back I decided to finally to floor it from a red light and go to about 100 mph. Anyways the tires chirped off the line but then when it went into second they chirped again. I was a little puzzled by this so floored it again and the tires chirped again going into second. My question is do all stock Auto GT's do this.I am not all to familiar with the GT yet, I have only had it for 3 weeks now....so sorry if it’s a stupid question I was just wondering. Keep in mind it’s a completely stock 2003 GT vert (Auto).

I have an 01 automatic GT with only a k&n air filter and an o/r h-pipe, but neither of those mods would give any power you can feel, and I chirp 2nd all the time, either by manually shifting it myself, or putting it in D and letting it shift on its own, either way 2nd chirps.

Do you drive with traction control on or off?

Try it with trction control off (it should always be off anyways). My auto bark really hard when traction control is on, but it makes a light chirp when it is off.

BTW, traction control is off when the light is on. Always race withtraction controloff.

Nice thing about a manual is that you can go sideways and lay down some rubber during the 1-2 shift... boy is that fun!
