Default HELP

The car is a 97 GT with o/r x and slp lm1.

The problem is when the car idles it will pop about every 30 seconds and when you drive it it will pop repeadidily. I put oxy sims on as i thought this was the problem. This didnt help, only removed the CEL light. Now, i have no cel light and the car still pops and runs like crap. PLEASE HELP

You have a miss. You will need to track down which cyl is missing

Start by pulling off plug wires at coil paks one at a time and listen to the motor. If you pull one off and motor idle doesnt change thats the one thats giving you problems. It could either be the plug or wire.

Ok, I tried pulling each plug wire off. This only made the car miss more. I dont believe its a miss. I think the fuel regulator went bad due to the 190gph fuel pump or it may be the plug wires. Its not a full miss just seems like a/f ratio isnt right. The car is definately running rich; the tips are black as hell.
