ok so i'll be takin my car to get it tuned in a couple of weeks and i would like to know what all they tune for besides testing to see if your motor is detonating, and air/fuel ratios. thanx. also is it possible w/ the right gauges to tune it myself? i have a handheld tuner.

 

Testing detonation??? What does that mean?

 

If the place you called said they were going to test for detonation then umm.. find another tuner

 

Whywouldchecking for detonation be a bad thing?

 

k nevermind i said that. Is it possible to tune my own car with the right gauges/tools and what all will a shop tune your car for?
