Default help please! colod air intake?

i was wondering what kind of cold air intake i should get for my car. it is a 97 mustang gt. i dont know if i should just get one from ebay or if i should actually go and buy a brand name one. i dont want to spend alot of money. does it really matter? help please!!

I personally don't think it matters what tubing you get just the air filter a K&N is what most prefer.... check the search option here thereis one intake alot of ppl talk about on here.....

Find a used one, get a recharge kit - this way you spend 1/3 the price. You're only goin to get 3-4rwhp from it tops.. just look around..

I like my Tunable Induction pipe between the MAF and throttle body. It definitely makes a throttle response difference and only cost $75 (for an '03 GT).

Just spend 50 bones on a drop in (replacement) K&N filter. It'd be about the same as putting a 150 dollar CAI on it.

for the HP gains, get a new ebay one or a good used bbk/jlt. also when you install it, clean the MAF with some carb cleaner..it helps the idle and makes the engine much smoother since it gets dirty over time.
