centri charged fellas
Ok those of you who have centris, esp v-1 or v-2 guys, I would like to hear from you. Please post your 1/8 - 1/4 times and how you feel about your blowers.... how are they compared to stock?.... are you happy with your blower?..... Does it get the job done on the street? Thanks for the insight!
does it come in hard? Im goig ahead getin it all done at one time - cooler, bypass, all the junk... also do you know if 30lbs injectors are good enough for a stock motor... 400 rwhp ish?
I'd go at least 42#. 30# might be alright, but you should always go bigger in the beginning, to avoid pay extra for it later. There are several things I wish I did during the beginning process, but then at that time I only had a 350-400 rwhp goal.

There is no comparasion between FI and just the boltons... I could not be more pleased with my setup.

Where are you located? Theres a pretty good chance one of us centri guys are only a few hours drive away. I would be more than happy to take you for a ride, and then we can drink beer.
What exactly are you wanting to know? Not sure what you mean about "getting it done" on the street.
Put it this way, there isn't any "lag" like people think, only a linear horsepower/torque curve. The car feels VERY good from a stop, but if you want that instant "pull" from a roll you have to be at the right RPM in the upper gears (3/4/5). If your at the right RPM in the higher gears it also pulls instantly.
From a stop, or anything in 1st (or 2nd if your not running d/rs) at any RPM your gonna get INSTANT power and usually tirespin.. The car pulls right away (at WOT) and just pulls harder and harder the higher you rev.
On a side note, I am making more power at 3000 RPM on a lower (much) reading mustang dyno than at ANY point in the RPM curve with my boltons/cams etc on the dynojet. The centri blowers don't make 10 PSI at 3000 RPM, but you do already start to feel the effects. My car already makes like 1-2 PSI at something like 2800 RPM. Even the removal of vaccum in the manifold way down around 1500 RPM makes a big difference (something like the ultimate CAI setup : )
