I myself am about to purchase a set of camS. Our motors our sohc(single overhead cam motors) and since there are two heads, we need 2 cams. I would suggest a vt stage 1 cam package for you if you have no plans on doing anything to the car after the cams. If you plan on growing with the car, get some vt n/a stage 2 cams. But with those, you need upgraged valve springs and a tune. With the pi swap and cams if you have full bolt-ons you could see around 300rwhp possibly.

i agree with 03sonicgt...full swap and bolts ons possibly 300rwhp...cam wise: stage 1's if youre done with the car and stage II's if you want to leave room for growing...if you ever plan on going F/I i would hold out on the cams though!

You don't have to, but if you have high mileage you might as well. They aren't working like they did new anymore, ya know?

heres a question for you along the same lines.

i have a 2003 GT. If i were to put VT N/A stage II cams in my stock heads and had plans for a forged motor/forged internals later on....would I be able to keep the stock heads? (plans to port/polish heads/intake/TB/plenum also included)
