Default What to do next

As of now I am a full bolt-on GT. FIPK2, accufab 70mm TB/plenum, SLP LT's, SLP catted x, SLP LM1, King cobra clutch, 4.10's, MGW sitting in my room ready to go in. I am stuck right now on what to do next. I am thinking of saving up this summer and throwing on vortech mongoose kit from mph. It would cost about 4k including the dyno tune (I would install it myself). With that I should easly be seeing 4xx rwhp and 4xx rwtq. I think this would be great but that would max out my engine. My other thought would be to spend that same money building a motor. If I do go with the new motor I would probaly try and hold on to the car for a while and do it right. But then comes the problem of mileage. The car already has 80k miles on it. Anyways any suggestions would be nice. As of now my goal is to get the vortech on there and have a fun street/strip car for a while and then once I get out of college and get a real job I'll look for a nice 04 cobra.

im in the same position. im in the proces of gettin the blower. just take your time....and get the blower. DO IT RIGHT. take it step by step. dont get me wrong i adore the cobra...especially the 03 04...but id rather have a GT that will stomp a cobra and be able to say i built it. in my opinion keep the GT, get the blower then just work your way through the engine piece by piece. and have fun doin it. just my .02

I think you should just go with nitrous if you plan on getting a cobra someday. No reason to put that much time and money in it if you are gonna get a cobra later on.

You both should have cars running well into the 12's at the track. If not, that's a good goal to shoot for until you can get a forged motor then go all out
