Default TB= whistle?!

about 2 months ago i got a 70mm bbk throttle body but when i give it like 25% throttle it whistles and then if i give it some more it doesnt or less it doesnt. at first i thought it was kind of cool cause the sound but now it is gettin a little annoying when i am crusin and i can hear a whistling sound. is this normal or is there a leak or something?

my accufab did that. When i got my JLT Rai it stopped making that noise. I went from a BBK CAI which is identical to your MAC. I believe its normal

yeah mine does the same...don't sweat it. I actually think it sounds pretty cool. If anything though, there could be a vacuum leak? I doubt it thought...

I wanted to post something like this too. But i didn't know if anyone would know what I am talking about. I have an accufab and it does that. good to hear that it is probably normal.

My friend had a TB spacer that did this... turns out he had it in backwards, fliped it around and it quit. Don't believe thats an option for you though...

Are you sure it's the TB? I have a whistle coming from my shifter? My boot is ripped and it whistles under light acceleration and if I give it more gas, it goes away.

yea i am pretty sure cause right when it got put on the noise happened and u can hear it comin from that part under the hood
