I've seen people go 275 all the way around on stock rims, but you may rub in the front at full lock. The biggest I've seen someone go in the back with stock rims is 285, but there may be someone who is going bigger...that's just what I've seen personally.

275 is the biggest you can go on 17 x 8's, and thats only in drag radial's ... I don't think that any street tires will fit 275's on your rims.

The question now is with a car lowered 1.5 inches, will it rub in the front? Thats all I need to know! I hate buying tires that are unmatched in size or tread.

I don't know about rubbing up front, everyone I know that run's 275's in the back still run 245's up front
