Default Typhoon intake with vortech?

Will the typhhon intake work well with a vortech supercharger or is it primarily only for n/a vehicles? i know that the typhoon really helps out the midrange on n/a vehicles...

The typhoon will work with any centrifugal blower. But like Matt said. Everything I have heard is that build quality sucks and it does next to nothing on the dyno and the street.

I have that manifold, and while I didn't notice any gain from it, I was able to replace the stock piece (which cracked) with one that would not crack. Fit fine and I have had no problems with it what-so-ever. In addition, it was a lot cheaper than the P-51.

Does the p-51 work well with superchargers? I know that thing is great all around for what i have read.

After seeing the dyno for the typhoon in mm&ff it looks to be pretty impressive to me.Definately the most power you can get for $550.

It's only going to help you if you have a built engine since it gains most of its power in rpm ranges higher than stock internals can go.

Unless you need it right NOW just forget it. If its cracked it a ok replacement, but its not going to see major power gains either way.

There is at least one more intake coming out for our cars this spring. If you are wanting to add power to a FI car (rather than repairing a cracked manifold) you could do cams for much better gains than any aftermarket intake currently on the market.
