Default Engine Swap

Will a 99-04 Cobra engine fitinto a 97 GT? Also about how much would one expect to pay for a Cobra engine with less than 50,000 miles on it?

yea but if u get a terminator motor get a new tranny which i think might require a new crossmember
and the motor mounts can be used, and if u get a 99-01 cobra the tranny will bolt right up i mite be wrong( wouldnt surprise me)

You can get Cobra pull-out motors for under $7k if you can find one.

Once you have the motor, there are thousands of $$ of other Cobra parts you'll need (hoses, cables, harness, brackets, etc).

TRUST ME, it would be cheaper to buy a Cobra.

Don't believe me if you don't want to. Sell current car, buy Cobra... build from there if you want that kind of power.

I did it the other way. It costs more than you mignt think.
