Default HELP!!

I just installed a UPR Intake Plenum spacer with dual ports. Ok after I got down with install and stuff, I started the car and it was idling really really rough. Like it had a cam in it. So I checked all my vaccuum lines, made sure all the bolts were securely fastened. Checked everything and it is still idling really bad. Slightly better than before, due to a little air leak, but still bad. Does anyone know what might cause this?

Have you checked the seal @ the new spacers? Get a small brush (like for painting) and paint some liquid soap (like for washing dishes) along the "seams" -- see if there is any bubbling or "slurping" of the soap. Also, did you overtorque anything? what about hose clamps? secure? all being used (can't tell you how many times I've forgotten to tighten up a hose clamp somewhere ....)

good luck,

The car is throwing a 0300 Random misfire code and 0316 Misfire at startup (first 1000 revolutions) code. Does anyone know how to find out what is causing a misfire or how to fix what it is?

you have a vacum leak somewhere. get a can of carb cleaner and spray it around the intake. when the car starts to die that is where your leak is.
