I thought about doing the same thing, haven't looked to much into it yet. I saw something about it on speed tv a few months ago...

They're a LOT better choice than one of those stupid old skool black vinyl/canvass bras[:@] and they do work, nearly invisible too!

But I think they're a b!tch to remove if you ever want to repaint the front end.

Yes I would do it theres a place around here that does it and a Guy I know did it on his 03 Cobra and its hardly noticable and will protect from anything coming up at the paint.

The only problem I've seen w/ those, is they do turn a little hazy and yellow after a little while, but they do work awesome.. I've seen a bunch of cars w/ them, and like I said, the yellowing was the only problem I saw..

If your car is painted properly, it won't harm your paint.

I have it on the side skirts directly behind the front wheels of my Cobra.

well let me explain... in most cases you have to replace that 3m stuff every few months..or else dirt and water get into the plastic.. making it yellow, that has a negative effect on your paint, but it also depends on how much of the car you plan to cover... also if you have an expensive custom paint job, I have heard stories that the the cover causes differential fading over long periods of time.... I just think that its not worth cost... by the time you do that a few times, your still gonna want/maybe need a new paint job anyway

I have the Xpel version on all my cars 2001 SaaB Turbo, 2003 Thunderbird, 2005 Thunderbird and 2007 Saleen / PJ 302.
It is the best protection and never have to drive around or travel with a conventional bra.
I have the frontends, rear view mirror and behind the wheelwells done on every car. Around here they can come right to your garage and put it on. If damaged it is replaced easily. Cost is between $400 - 500 per car. You never leave home without it and it is bearly noticable.
