Alright.. so the miles have reached 123,000 on the odometer. I dont know how the car was maintained before I bought it so I dont really know much about that. After driving the car from california to kentucky it sounded sorta funny. The best way i could describe it is that there was some debris flying around somewhere in the engine. The car also lost some of the ballsiness it used to have. I changed the oil and plugs and it still did it. So, i think its time to retire the engine. Well the block at least. I need help on where to find a new shortblock. Im not planing on goin over 400hp so i dont need anything too extreme... which means i dont plan on spending too much.. I'm looking to stay around the $2000 range or not much above that.. Well thanks for all the help.
