+1 on those don't look like DRs.

Congrats on the purchase though. Sucks your paying someone to do it for you. The whole time I was putting this on I kept thinking to myself "why didn't I just pay to have this done for me?" But everythings easier the 2nd time around I guess.

Why is it that all of the boosted 2v's on this site are 2000's???

2000gt4.6, stang2000, myself, and now you???? wtf? (just an observatoin)

Did you get all that injector/B.S. figured out??? What did you get in the box???
After doing it I would not pay for an install on a centri unit, it really was pretty easy (just time consuming).

AnyTWO with a decent tool set and some mechanical knowledge can do it in their garage. The hardest part was dropping the gas tank, and even that was fairly easy.
I can hold my own with a wrench. My problem was finding competent/dedicated help installing it. I was about to take it to the shop to have them finish it.

Dropping the fuel tank was easy. The only problem with that was the rusty *** bolts holding it on.Lots of effort getting them off.

The biggest problem we ran into was getting the intake tube to match up. And another bitch was figuring out how the **** to get the tensioner to stay in place. The whole locking pliers crap was worthless. I held the tensioner into place while my buddy worked the belt and mounted the bracket.

Did you put yours on yourself?

Me and a buddy did mine in the garage at my house. It wasn't really that bad.

The tensioner is a bitch, but I was able to get locking pliers on the tensioner and move it all the way back, and then have him slip the belt over the alternator pulley.

I had those exact DRs in 315/35/17....they hook like a mother ****er. Makes my Nitto 315 DRs seem like pieces of ****. They wore out FAST though.

what's the dealio with the DR2? looks like an all season tire from the image. is it supposed to be an every day tire that'll get you some good traction with nice tread life?

I am a 2000 who is probably going boosted here in about 6 months (hello 21st B-day present to myself). But you sir are a lucky man. Enjoy the hell out of it.

Sidenote: heard a Novi 2000 at the track on an 02 GT. Thing had a really nice whistle at idle and screamed at WOT.
