02 gt
test drove an 02 black on black convertible gt 64k miles for 11k..it was nice i think it had kn cai or something..but the only thing is..when the dealer reversed it out of the spot and turned the wheels the car made a squeeking sound..but when i test drove it i didnt hear the squeeking sound..u think this is a big problem? or something small like it was sitting there for a while.?
ALWAYS be extremely carefull when sports car shopping.. Look for any signs of a kid getting a hold of it.. I had to look for5 months for my car [:@]. Its hard to find a perfect condition stang for a reasonable price..at least around here it is.
how much is he asking if you dont mind me asking....I bought my '02 5 Spd with 27k for 11,999. IMMACULATE condtion too....Just giving you some ammo for when/if you bargain to buy. BTW...Listen for the throw out bearing....It will sound like a belt but when you apply a small amount of pressure to the clutch, it will go away.
Good Luck

check exhaust and under carrage... before i got mine i was about to buy a used 02 GT with mods* we all later found out that it had full exhaust, wouldnt pass smog and had a s/c on it... and best part they wanted me to pay for it to get fixed i told them to f**k off and passed =p
ye dont jump into anything. Make sure you know what your getting...and never believe the car salesman they will tell you anything. I would even maybe try to take a knowledgeable friend along if you know what im saying. Someone who can see through the BS
Wait for the best deal. I bought my 2000 GT with 10,500 miles on it for $10,900. There was absolutely no rust and everything was perfect. The only option it didn't have was leather seats. But I could of had leather seats and 55k miles or no leather and 10k miles. I chose the second one.
