I heard a story while back, someone bought one of those "cheap" intakes. Anyway, a part of it came loose and got sucked through the intake, not a good thing, plus it opened the filter up, and the engine was sucking in unfiltered air. He didn't know when it happened until he started having problems with his engine. My opinion, go get a BBK, KN or something quality.

DO NOT BUY IT.

They are complete rip offs. they work for about the first thousand miles or so, then they literally start falling apart. i bought one off there and after instillation, the pipe started coming off the throttle body and MAF. i did everything to fix it and it just wouldnt stay on. Honstly, spend the extra $50 and get a real one. also, when i put my stock one back on, i didnt notice a difference in power at all. its basically your stock intake with no air box. definate NO.

hope that helps.

i bought one for 26 bucks and had it for a year ...it worked fine but when i bought the blower it came with one and i sold the ebay intake to some dude for 40 buck hehe...no probs with the product though. I actually got a pretty big filter with it too but u can always buy a KN filter and exchange it so u dont have to pay over 100 buck for the KN CAI.

I have the same thing its been on there for about 8,000 miles and never had a problem. An CAI is a CAI its not worth spending $250 on a name brand for a sticker to put on your car. You will be fine the only thing i would do is wrap it with some Nomex tape to keep the heat off of it. Mine is pretty hot in the summer time. That is the only reason i would maybe consider a plastic one but other wise go for it.
