Next time, try a search....

Should you? Yes.

Pros: Protection and power you won't get from dino juice.

Cons: Twice as much $ as dino juice. Take care of your baby and she'll take care of you.

Brands? Redline, Mobile 1 and Royal Purple are the top brands. I use Royal Purple myself. Nothing but the best for my baby....

Switch to Amsoil and you'll be saving yourself a lot of troubles. All synthetics are good, but only Amsoil gives a written warranty for its 25k mile/1 yr oil changes.

wait, amsoil lasts 1 year/25k miles? wow, lol id'e like to see the price tag. anyways, mobil is like 20 bucks for the 5qt jug which is all you need for a 4.6, at walmart, so it isnt that much more.

Not as much as you think. $7.25 per quart retail.

Ummm....i think it says all you need for a 4.6 is 5 quarts... I am pretty sure it is in fact 6 quarts needed. I think mobil one is around 22 dollars for the 5 quart jug, another 5.88 for another quart, and 7 or so for a good filter. Stay away from the fram filters, I work on these things all day and constantly see fram's, much to my dismay. Go with a Wix, a K&N, also the motorcraft looks pretty good and is less than 4 dollars.

How long do you let your oil drain? I used 7 quarts last time, the car had been running hard right before I drained it though. Before that I had used 6.5 quarts.

I switched to synthetic motor oil the moment I got my car. I run Castrol.
