Default gears in, brakes acting funny

got my 3.73's in now when I come to a complete stop my brakes make a noise like the ABS is activating. What is the cheapest way to reset the PCM for 3.73's and not 3.27's? Do I have to the Hypertech programmer or similar?

Gear changes won't affect the abs system, make sure the abs sensors are bolted back on the hub and you have friction modifyer in the differential along with synthetic fluid. As for recalibrating the PCM you can use the Dallas Speedcal ($80) or get a chip or tuner

Why would your brakes need to know how fast you're going?

the speed sensors for the brakes are reading wheel speeds and comparing them to each other no matter what gear you have installed, so I don't know why you should need to re-program anything. just check the clearances on the speed sensors to the toothed wheels to make sure it isn't too large in case they got moved around during the gear change. you could also try resetting the ECU just for grins to see what effect this may have. just disconnect the negative battery cable and leave it off for at least 10 minutes or more and see if this does anything for you. you do need to change the speedo gear in the tranny though to get it back to accurate.
