Default How to re-enforce torque boxes ?

Hi all,

one of the first things I want to get done is to re-enforce my torque boxes.Do I just have a shop weld plates in or are there kits fo these cars. What have you guys done.

This is kind of an important mod that everybody with any hp should be doing. I'm sure some of you have done this. Any info would be helpful

Hey,
Sound is gonna be a biggie for me as well, I am hearing things about the mach system I have. I've heard it is a 2ohm system, and that if you dont use the mach amps you have to totally rewire. Do you know about this at all bransdaman?

Personally I wouldnt reinforce torque boxes unless you are running some kind of sticky tire all the time. We just welded a kit to our drag car upper and lower pretty straight forward, the lowers are a pain in the ***. We used the battle box kit, but there are others out there. If anything get some subframe connecters.
