Default Dynamat users?

I love the sound of my exhaust but the drone when I'm cruising gets to me - my '01 Stang is a DD and I'm on the highway a ton. I'm looking into getting some Dynamat to try to dampen not only the exhaust drone, but the general road noise (as you all know there is a ton). Anyone have experience installing Dynamat in a Mustang? What spots should I hit to get the best interior environment? I'm definitely going under the carpet behind and in front of the front seats, under the rear seats, and in the doors. Where else should I look at?

EDIT: My plan is to lay down Dynamat Extreme and top it with DynaPad. That looks like it will give me the best aural insulation.

Don't get dynamat... It's overpriced.. Get some b-quiet ultimate.. I know I'm getting some when it warms up for my trunk because of my sub... but it sounds like you got it covered for the most part..

Cool. I was checking their site and it said the Pad is best used in the trunk to eliminate exhaust drone. Any input on that?

Yeah, theres cheaper stuff like fatmat and another one on ebay. Id hit the trunk too. Only thing that sucks is the stuff is heavy.

I've got Dynamat, it's sweet! It's definately reduced a lot of the plastic vibration's that are common in the cheaply built mustangs. As well as outside road noises. And after replacing my swill mach 460 soundsytem, I could tell that the dynamat was helping produce a more direct sound.

I don't mind heavy. I don't take the car to the track or race it much at all really; it's just a fun light-to-lighter, and of course the women love it. Heavy is probably better anyway since weather isn't usually ideal here in southern Ohio.
